Embattled Oil Baron, Jide Omokore Shrugged Off Woes Of EFCC’s Mega Investigation For David Jemibewon’s Mother’s “Owanbe” Burial Ceremony
Friday August 5 2016, Embattled Oil baron, Jide Omokore surfaced on the party circuit.
He was part of guests at the burial ceremony for madam Emife, the 106 yrs old mother of powerful behind the scene player and retired military officer David Jemibewon.

The event was staged at the Iya Gbede, Ijumu Local Council area, Kogi state home town of the Jemibewons.

Omokore is believed to have offered to refund huge sums of money to halt on going prosecution.
Sources claimed initial agreement he brokered to evade arrest and detention was scrapped when investigators uncovered what was thought a good deal in coming to an understanding with was in fact another rip off of the system.
Further revelations resulted in his arrest and weeks in detention, arraignment and current conditional freedom.
Digs revealed there is strong indication his appearance at the “Owanbe” burial ceremony of the mother of General Jemibwon retired in fact an appreciative gesture.
Sources claimed the General confirmed to have strong clout behind the scene is helping to make his troubles go away.

Omokore fingered as a key player in alleged systematic corruption that rocked the petroleum industry under the watch of ailing petrol minister Diezani Madueke is believed to be in fresh talks with authorities to refund funds halt attempts to seize his properties and his ongoing prosecution.
Madam Emife Jemibewon, the deceased burial he attended passed on Thursday 21 2016.
