This is a big boost for the #EndSars Movement.
Anonymous, the decentralized international activists -hacktivists – widely known for cyber attacks against persons, agencies, corporations, and governments working against the interests and general well-being of the people have endorsed the #EndSars movement.
The implication of this is possible attacks on targeted Nigerian Leaders to force the implementation of the demands of the Nigerian youths as defined by the #EndSars movement.
Anonymous leverages public display of embarrassing details of its targets which include but are not limited to secrets about finances, health, affairs, family ties, and any other thing that falls into the category dirty linen.
Expected to be targeted in the battle towards achieving the #EndSars objectives are political leaders, religious figures, captain of industries, and any other persons or groups believed to be complicit in the rot the #EndSars movement is aggressively kicking against.
‘’If care is not taken, a lot of dirty secrets will start finding their way into the public space’’ societynow.ng learned.
#EndSars movement birthed out of years of harassment and intimidation by the Special Anit-Robbery Squad (SARS) – now disbanded as a result of raging protests – has spiraled into demand for a better Nigeria on the wings of insistence on immediate reforms in the Nigerian Police Force.
