Details: New Status Symbol In Top-Level High Society
highly discreet enclave
There is a new status symbol for the super-rich and powerful, both in and out of government.
And it’s a piece of real estate located in Lagos State.
The latest status identifier in high society is situated on Bourdillon Road, Victoria Island.
It is called No1 and is positioned right at the entrance of the highbrow street where President Tinubu resided for a while.
No1 consists of a collection of flats within multiple multi-storey buildings.
It is not a conventional residential building but a set of exclusive apartments secured for special visits.
Speculation suggests that a flat in this highly discreet enclave goes for as much as $3 million—or more.
There are claims that A-list businesspeople and top-level government officials, both at the state and federal levels, own flats at No1.
“It is not for everybody. It is for those who are the real ‘who’s who.’ And just having money does not guarantee acquiring a flat,” sources say.
