Ike Ekweremadu, the former Deputy Senate President is bereaved.

His brother Mathias Ekweremadu has passed on.

Societynow.ng gathered that the journey of the brother of the former Deputy Senate President to great beyond started when he slumped while defending his budget.

He was the commissioner for Transport in Enugu State.

The report monitored by societynow.ng on theelitesng.com stated in part that “he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, Niger Foundation, where doctors battled for over an hour to resuscitate him but to no avail.”

The “cause” of his death is, however, yet to be ascertained.
