48hrs after angry workers paralyzed government activities in Ogun State, societyow.ng learned a truce has been brokered.
Government and Labor leaders have reached an agreement.
Societynow.ng gathered the agreement fulfills the major demands of Labor that resulted in the strike.
According to information available the three major areas of dispute resolved are
1.Minimum wage to Commence in October 2020.
- 2018 till date Promotion exercise to commence immediately.
- Gratuity and BRT to be paying quarterly to commence in January 2021.
The implication of this is that the 7days warning strike ends today societynow.ng learned.
Labor leaders led by Comrade Emmanuel Bankole are expected to make a formal announcement today.
