Details As Abiodun’s Govt Orders All Ogun Workers To Be Verified

The administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun has ordered all workers in Ogun State’s ministries, departments, and agencies to undergo verification exercises.

The process starts this week, according to available information.

Insiders disclosed that the state government ordered the verification of workers to address issues not limited to unauthorized leave, unaccounted absences from work, the growing number of personnel, and clandestine exits during office hours.

“There are also talks of weeding out ghost workers,” sources say.

Added information revealed that the physical presence of workers and the counter-signing of the verification form by not less than four senior officers are key requirements of the procedure, with staggered dates across ministries, departments, and agencies.
