Abdullahi, the oil marketer son of late Arisekola Alao has relocated from Nigeria.
Sources disclosed that the troubled boss of Axenergy limited is now based in Turkey.
Abdullahi moved out of Nigeria – along with his family – in the face of an N1.8billion oil subsidy trial that refused to go away.
According to information sourced from online platform Highstreet.ng, Abdullahi relocated from Nigeria in September this year, 2019.
He was forced to take the step based on the mess the oil subsidy trial has made of his businesses and life, societynow.ng learned.
Accused of getting subsidy payment under a false premise, Abdullahi had proclaimed his innocence fingering oil industry heavyweights as behind his ordeal.
Societynow.ng gathered that he never found his feet again in the oil world. And increasingly found it hard to meet his bills – after securing a hundred million naira bail and two sureties in like sum – as the trial progressed.
” I guess he took stock of all these things and opted to leave everything behind and start all over again outside the country” a source stated.
Abdullahi Alao’s trial for Oil subsidy fraud started in 2012 and seven years later, a verdict is yet to be reached in the case.
