Is Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu on his way to the ruling All Progressives Congress?

This is the growing poser on the lips of watchers of events regarding the People’s Democratic Party chieftain.

The whispers about the Deputy Senate President is further given wings by recent comments credited to fellow Senator Kabiru Marafa, an ally of new majority leader – Ahmed Lawan.Marafa is quoted as saying he is looking forward to Ekweremadu decamping to the ruling APC asserting ‘’ “The more the merrier, Ekweremadu is my friend, brother, boss and leader and enjoy good working relationship with him.”

Some believe this is a sort of ground work talks for a possible defection.
