Defence College Names Nasarawa’s Sule As Most Youth-Friendly Gov

Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, has been conferred with the Most Youth-Friendly Governor Award by the Nigerian Defence College. 

The award was presented during an audience granted to officials of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, the management teams of Nasarawa United and Nasarawa Amazons, as well as officials of the National Defence College. 

Also in attendance were 15 members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) who recently concluded strategic leadership training, 6 recipients of the President’s NYSC Honour Award, 2 Amazon players who featured in the Under-19 National Team, and 7 Nasarawa United feeder team players invited to the national squad.

The delegation was led by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Yakubu Kwanta, who at the event also unveiled and presented the new Nasarawa United Jersey, alongside Anas Yusuf, last season’s highest goal scorer in the Nigerian Premier League.
