Dapo Abiodun Hails Obasanjo “A Bundle Of Contradictions, Luckiest Human Being” In Birthday Message

Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun has hailed former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a bundle of contradictions and undoubtedly one of the luckiest, most patriotic and blessed human beings in a birthday message.

The Govenor wrote in a public post

This evening, I saw the play, Àrèmú which was staged to celebrate Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who clocks 83 on Thursday.

At the premiere, I stressed that I would continue to encourage this kind of art in Ogun State. Chief Obasanjo, in whose honour the play was produced, is undoubtedly one of the luckiest, most patriotic and blessed human beings.

A bundle of contradictions, Baba has his roots in the tiny town of Ibogun but he rose to wine and dine with kings. God took him through the furnace, and he came out prepared for a larger role.

I am convinced that a man who cannot be broken by wrongful imprisonment deserves celebration.
