Bishop Oyedepo’s Winners Chapel, Pastor Adeboye’s Redeemed Hold Shiloh & Holy Ghost Congress Same Period To Diffuse Security Threats

Contrary to normal practise, Winners Chapel (Living Faith Church World Wide) and Redeemed ( Redeemed Christian Church of God) are holding parallel week long end of year prayer gatherings.

Winners Chapel programme themed ‘’From Glory to Glory’’ kicks off on Tuesday December till Saturday December 12, 2015 while the RCCG’s convention tagged ‘’Floodgates of Heaven’’ runs from Monday December 7 till Saturday December 12, 2015.
Findings revealed the leadership of ministries headed by Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Enoch Adeboye before this latest edition, usual arrange the programme not to coincide with each other.

‘’the normal arrangement is such that worshipers attend the two programmes because they are held at different time’’ a source disclosed.

The Winners chapel programme is widely known as Shiloh while that of RCCG is labelled Holy Ghost Congress.

Digs by societynowg.com however revealed that the leaders of the Christian ministry decided to abandon the norms as a result of the need to diffuse security threats.

Suicide bombers have been carrying out attacks in the northern and north east regions of the country – while no attack has been carried out in the south west region where the churches hold their end of the years gatherings, there are reports members of the militant group have been traced to and apprehended in the region while in flight.

Security advisory issued had warned against gathering of many people at a specific place to avoid becoming a target.

The church leaders are said to have taken the content of the advisory seriously and the result is labelled the week long prayer gathering taking off at the same time.
Aside staging the programme at the same time, sources confirmed the church leadership have also advised congregants not to be desperate to attend.

Means to follow the programmes such as live streaming and telecasts have already in place for worshippers to follow minute by minute updates where ever they are.

‘’it is all about faith, if you believe wherever you are- you prayers would be answer as you follow the programme and pray’’ a source claimed.

While Winners Chapel’s programme kicks off tomorrow at the Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun state site of the church that of the RCCG started today at the Redemption Camp on Lagos Ibadan Expres way, Mowe, Ogun state.
