Spokesperson Commodore Suleman Dahun announced the development in a statement released earlier today, May 22, 2021.
Dahun cited the death of the Chief of Army Staff Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru and some of his men in a plane crash yesterday, May 21, 2021 on their way to Kaduna State.
The cancellation of the Navy’s 65th celebration is to honor the Army chiefs who died in active service to the Nation.
