Applause For Cote D’Ivoire Coach, Herve Renard As He Offers Jay Jay Okocha His Business Class Seat While D’Banj & Flavour Maintain Indifference

Cote D’Ivoire Coach, Herve Renard acted out the definition of exemplary character and respect for towering exploits recently – and he given resounding recognition.

Applause rained out for Cote D’Ivoire Coach, Herve Renard when he showed he was not only a perfect gentleman but someone who respects a true Legend by offering his Business Class Seat for Austin Jay Jay Okocha.

According to a passenger on the flight, after the Glo-CAF Awards, a lot of those who took part in the ceremony were booked on the same flight. Those he spotted on the flight yesterday included Jay Jay Okocha (Economy class), Julius Agwu (Economy Class), Gbenga Adeyinka 1st(Economy Class), Ego(Economy Class), and Bez (Economy Class) while D’Banj (Business Class), Flavour(Business Class) and Omawunmi (Business Class) . The flight was very full.

But what got many talking was the conduct of Renard, who was sacked in November as Coach of Vincent Enyeama’s Club, Lille Metropole. The French man who had just been awarded the 2015 Glo-CAF Coach of the Year taught our Star Artistes and Brand Ambassadors a thing or two about humility and respect. When he spotted Austin Jay Jay Okocha in the Economy Class, Renard left his seat, and went all the way to the Economy Cabin to beg Okocha and offered him his Business Class seat.

Okocha was so moved by this gesture that he escorted the French man back to his seat, exchanged pleasantries, expressed his appreciation and came back to his seat!. All the while this was going on, D’banj and Flavour pretended they did not know what was amiss. But the gesture did not go unnoticed as many passengers discussed it and applauded Renard throughout the flight from Abuja to Lagos. Majority of course gave thumps down to the Nigerian artistes!
