Angry Minister Al Hassan Dumps APC

The minister for women Affairs Aisha Al-Hassan has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The development comes barely 24 hours after the party disqualified the minister from participating in the process to determine party’s gubernatorial candidate in Tarawa state.

Alaska was reportedly is disqualified over issues bothering on loyalty to the party.

As Minister in the APC government, the minister publicly confirmed allegiance to People’s Democratic Party Chieftain Atiku abubarkar.

In retaliation for her disqualication, Alhassan has Resigned appointment as Minister and membership of the APC.

“I write with a lot of respect to inform Mr. President of my decision to resign my appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” Alhassan stated in her resignation letter.
