Andrew Yakubu, Ex NNPC Boss With $9.8 million, £74, 000 Found In Raid Of His House Has Ambition To Become Kaduna State Governor

In detention former Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Commission, Andrew Yakubu possesses a political ambition.

Sources claim he plans to become the Governor of Kaduna state.

The man who admitted ownership of $9.8 million – £74, 000 – in cash- discovered in a raid of his Kaduna residence, is said to have started quietly working towards his dream – before he ran foul of the law.

He is currently in prison custody at Kuje Prison till March 21 2017 when bail hearing in his ongoing corruption court case comes up.

‘’he had started hobnobbing with political players in the state and beyond as part of moves to establish proper political foundation ’’ a source disclosed.

However sources are unclear about the implication of his present predicament for his political aspiration.

‘’am not sure..but to a large extent i think it is more about how well he comes off the case and how strong his passion to actualise his dream is’’ a source stated in response to poser about the effect of Yakubu’s ongoing corruption case on his gubernatorial ambition.
