As part of his 60th birthday celebration ( his birth date is actually March 3), Fuji music overlord, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal converted his Lagos Castle to a mosque and national headquarter for Islamic foundation, MIFO.

Mifo means Muhtadeen Islamic foundation

It was formed originally as Muslim youth forum on Feb 23, 1997 but changed name to MIFO in 2007 to capture more members across ages not just in programs but also in name
Muhtadeen means those who know and well guided.

Apart from the headquarter, it has branches in oyo, Ibadan, cotonou, ilorin, Lagos island, offa, ijebuode, iseyin, Saki,ishara, ore, Abidjan cote d’ivoire, shagamu, abeokuta, osogbo, adoekiti and cairo, Egypt.

Sheikh Isiaq Hangar Agbarigidoma is chief missionary while Alh Qosim Adeniyi Owolabi is national ameer with alhaja Hafsat adebola sanya as national ameerah.
