The title about to be bestowed on Chief Adebutut by the Oba of Lagos was the pride of late man of strong character, Chief Molade Okoya.
Chief Okoya widely acknowledged as a boardroom guru, philanthropists and sports sponsor unusual passed on some 8months ago.
Knowledge of the takeover of the Asoju Oba of Lagos by the power behind street lottery Baba Ijebu was made public news in an interaction with the media to reveal activities to mark his 80th birthday and 10th Anniversary of his foundation, Chief Adebutu who is Iperu Remo, Ogun State stated that Kessignton Adebutu the colourful ceremony will hold on Thursday, October 22, 2015 according to thelightnews.
The news platform reports further ‘As part of the activities to mark his 80th birthday and 10th anniversary of his Foundation, billionaire and philanthropist, Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu, will be capped as the Asoju Oba of Lagos by Oba Rilwanu Osuolala Akiolu on Thursday.
Chief Adebutu, the Promoter of the Premier Lotto brand, that activities with a medical outreach programme for the general public. The outreach, he noted, will cover such areas as diagnosis and treatment of Nigerians from all walks of life at the Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation headquarters in Iperu Remo.
“On Thursday, there will be special capping ceremony where I will be installed as the Asoju Oba of Lagos at the palace of the Oba of Lagos, HRM, Oba Rilwanu Osuolala Akiolu
On Friday, the 23rd of October, there will be a special promotion by Premier Lotto to distribute prizes to our loyal customers and the general public. Eight brand new cars and other high-value gifts items that will be won on that day. And the celebration would be rounded off with glitzy party on Saturday while on at the Eko Hotel and Suites.’
