Billionaire Tunde Ayeni home’s has transformed a busy corridor at the moment, information reaching societynow.ng has shown.

And the current state of things at the troubled man of means’ residence is said to be as a result of his recent release by the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crime Commission.

Digs by societynow.ng revealed the highly placed business figure’s place of living is witnessing huge traffic of family, friends and associates.

They were said to be visiting Ayeni’s abode to greet as well as sympathise with him over his travail in the hands of the EFCC in the past couple of days.

The troubled billionaire’s home is located inside Government Reserve Area (GRA) Ikeja, Lagos.

Sunday, March 17, 2019, was significant as it recorded a large number of callers at the billionaire’s home, an insider disclosed.

Mr Ayeni – alongside Timothy Oguntayo, Managing Director of defunct Skye Bank plc where he served as chairman – was taken into custody by the EFCC on February 6, 2019.

He was only granted bail by an Abuja court on March 6, 2019.

The Ibrahim Magu led anti-corruption body did not let him off the hook until towards the end of last week.

This is despite meeting all bailing conditions handled to him by the trial judge, almost immediately.

Mr Ayeni – undergoing prosecution for a four-count charge of money laundering – was admitted to bail in the sum of N500 million.

Justice Valentine Ashi, the trial judge, also ordered him and Mr Oguntayo to produce two sureties in like sum.

The EFCC charged Ayeni and Oguntayo with N456.6 billion criminal breach of trust.

According to EFCC prosecutor, Abba Muhammed, the offences were committed between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2016.

But the billionaire is at the moment enjoying a sigh of relieve as friends and associates who are obviously excited he’s out of custody continue to throng his Ikeja Lagos home to sympathise with him.
