“Why They Are After Us” – Ondo Dep Gov’s Wife On False Claims Husband Assaulted Her

Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, the wife of the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has reacted to claims she was assaulted by her husband.

She declared the allegations against her husband as “false”, untrue” and politically motivated. Labelling the widely circulated statement she reportedly penned as “fiction”.

“We know the intention of the said group. I know why they are after me and my husband. They know my husband has a good relationship with the governor.” She disclosed. 

And provided further insight “They are working round the clock to mess it up. They believe the only way to achieve their motive is by spreading unfounded lies.”

She insisted she didn’t write any letter detailing any ordeal in the hands of her husband.

The allegation of wife -battering was made against the Ondo state Deputy Governor by the Society for Women Empowerment with Mrs Damilola Charles as National Coordinator.

Kenneth Odusola, the spokesperson for Deputy Governor Aiyedatiwa branded the accusation figment of imagination of those behind it.

Odusola insisted that it is an open secret in the state that Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa is mostly abroad, and was not around at the time cited in the allegation against the Deputy Governor.
