Why MC Oluomo & His Crew Are Extremely Happy As Transport Union Top Shot “ Authority Jafo” Takes The Throne As A King In Lagos

It is all smiles in the rank and file of the transport unions in Lagos state.

one of their own, “Authority Jafo”, has taken the throne as the new king of Ibaland, in Lagos state.

Societynow.ng gathered that “Authority Jafo” is the chairman of the Lagos state chairman NNAMORAL, the umbrella body for Okada (commercial motorcycle) owners and riders in pioneer transport union body, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN).

He was a former chief of staff to the national president of RTEAN Alhaji Musa Mohammed.

Sources disclosed that Authority Jafo takes the throne of Oniba as “His Royal Highness Oba Sulaimon Adeshina ( Ilufemiloye Ajagungbade 1) the new Oniba Ekun of Ibaland.”

He has been installed and receiving visits from far and near, especially from his elated colleagues in the transport union business insiders disclosed.

Added information revealed that MC Oluomo – real name Musilu Akinsanya -, the popular chairman of NURTW (National Union of Road Transport Workers) and his crew are some of those who have gone to pay homage to the new Oniba.

NURTW was created by break way members from RTEAN in the guise of creating an association for road transport workers while the latter cater for road transport employers but their operations and set-up became interwoven over the years while the two associations maintain their independence.

The checks by societynow.ng revealed that Authority Jafo’s emergence as a king is being widely celebrated by transport unionists because it serves as a strong validity of their acceptance and hope of what is possible with doggedness and focus.
