Why Insiders Say Singer Portable Is Sitting On A Keg Of Gun Powder In His Base

Those who should know insist that singer Portable – real name Habeeb Okikiola – is operating in a tense situation in his base.

The locals, particularly the army of young guys involved in unskilled jobs, appear to be out for him in Oke Osa, area of Ilogbo where is popular Odogwu Bar is located.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that there are now threats of “dealing” with the singer who came to prominence with the song “zazuu” if he makes another mistake.

The Information available revealed that this development is premised on an occurrence in the recent past.

“Portable took his hangers-on to batter some boys that allegedly beat up his brother. The boys were badly beaten and other youths rose in anger, bandied together in retaliation, and gave the singer and his crew a dose of their medicine.” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

Insiders insist the situation was unpleasant for the singer who was especially targeted.

“It was a free for all with charms and all sorts openly displayed. It took the intervention of the traditional ruler and threats of cursing everyone by traditionalists in the area before calm was restored” according to those in the know.

The added information available revealed that since then it has been a case of “cat and mouse” between Portable and his crew and those who dealt with them.

Findings revealed that at the heart of the rise up against the singer and his hangers-on in the area is their impunity in handling issues that affects them – acting as complainant and judge in their case(s).
