Why Gov Oyetola Has Refused To Move Into Osun Government House

Emerging information has it the executive governor of Osun State Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola has refused to move into the government house.
Osun State government house is located inside Government Reserve Area, Osogbo the state capital.
Oyetola becomes the fifth executive governor of Osun State on November 27, 2018.
Before his new status, Oyetola served in the administration of his predecessor – Rauf Aregbesola – as Chief of Staff to the governor for eight years.
And almost four months after he assumed office as number one citizen of Osun state, the Iragbiji born politician is yet to move into the government house.
Those in know informed societynow.ng the governor and his family still maintain the quarters he used for his eight years as chief of staff to former governor Aregbesola.
“He actually alternates between the Chief of Staff quarters and his country home in Iragbiji”, a source confided in societynow.ng.
Iragbiji, the incumbent governor’s home town is about 18 kilometres from Osogbo the state capital.
The governor is said to have a wonderful place of living in his home town.
Those in the camp of the governor maintain the state of things is as a result of renovation works being carried out on government house structures.
While other sources claim it’s beyond just the issue of renovation.
