The checks made by societynow.ng revealed that despite spending just eight months in office Emeka Ihedioha is rated better than former governor Rochas Okorochas.

Ihedioha who was sworn-in as governor of Imo state on May 29, 2018, was sacked from office by the Supreme court yesterday, January 14, 2020, as a result of the case instituted by rival party candidate Hope Uzodinma.

Rochas Okorocha governed Imo state in a two-term tenure from May 29, 2011, till May 29,2019.

Comments that trailed the sack of Ihedioha rate him as a better governor than Okorocha who spent more time in office.

Multiple comments claim Ihedioha ran a government that involved a more expanded number of stakeholders and initiated development that cuts across party lines.

‘’He ran the state as governor of all, unlike Okorocha that administered the state more like a party man than the administrator of the resources of the state’’ a source claim.

Comments here and there also have it that Ihedioha’s unearthing of the alleged ‘’ massive corrupt practices’’ of his predecessor also played a major role in downing the image of Okorocha.

‘’Ihedioha leaves office hailed on the streets as going after those who allegedly looted the state and trying to recover stolen wealth in the face of initiating major developmental moves while Okorocha battles the enmity of the mistakes made in eight years of administering the state and the deep-rooted ill feelings of attempting to install his son in law, Uche Nwosu as successor’’ societynow.ng learned.
