Dapo Abiodun, the money man behind Heyden,- the oil firm – wants to become the next Governor of Ogun state.

Abiodun, a known name in the politics of Ogun state joins the growing ranks of the associates and keen supporters of the Incumbent Ibikunle Amosun in becoming the next Governor of Ogun state.

But unlike others, Abiodun has consistently “publicly” shown interest in becoming the Governor of Ogun state – even before Amosun became a known name in the political circle checks by societynow.ng revealed.

Also unlike many of the contenders, the Heyden man is a man of his own – with wealth and long reach and clout to his name.

And he is said to have a very good friendship with Governor Amosun.

“This is the situation that has turned Abiodun’s advantages against him” a source disclosed to societynow.ng.

With a bigger name than Amosun in society and a higher rating in business with his Heyden’s exploits, as well as more entrenched in the association of the nation’s men of wealth than the Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun just needs political might to overshadow Amosun in all corners.

“And that is exactly the kind of person Amosun is painstakingly working against to succeed him” a source disclosed to societynow.ng.

Sources claim that the Heyden boss has seen the handwriting on the walls and the chain reaction has resulted in a bit of underground battle between Amosun and Abiodun.

Multiple sources disclosed to societynow.ng “except the bond of friendship outweighs caution, the chances of Amosun supporting Abiodun to succeed him as Governor is not all that shiny for now”.
