The party was scheduled for Sunday, January 2, 2022.
But words went on Saturday, January 1, 2022, that the party fixed for the Iperu -Remo,Ogun state private residence of the Governor won’t hold.
“The usual celebration will not hold this year to avoid undermining the efforts to combat COVID-19 in the State, and rolling back the success that has been recorded, particularly in view of the fourth wave of the pandemic.” a statement by Kunle Somorin who is Governor Abiodun’s Chief Press Secretary explained.
