Why Dangote Is Unhappy Despite Massive Wealth, Increased Prospects!

It is a fact that Billionaire Aliko Dangote is one of the nation’s biggest employers of labor.

Away from the talks about local contractors getting paid, It is a fact that the industrialist as contributed in no small measures to the nation’s economy.

It is a fact that Dangote is also one of Nigeria’s biggest exports.

It is also an irrefutable fact that Dangote has great prospects of increasing his vast wealth on many fronts as the Dangote group digs into the petroleum industry and related spheres.

Dangote appears to be living a charmed life but he is not happy.

Societynow.ng gathered his unhappiness stem from the conjectures of beyond the ordinary being woven around the ghastly accidents involving Dangote trucks.

‘’The operation of Dangote group is vast and conveyance of products, although a key component, is just a fraction of it, so you can imagine how sad it is for talks about a fraction to be splashed on the success of a whole.

‘’This is especially sad because these talks are a product of the intention to do good, engaging the truck drivers was meant to reduce employment’’ a source pointed out.

Societynow.ng gathered that the management of Dangote Group is constantly seeking ways to educate and re-orientate drivers of the company’s fleet on issues of safety and accident-free driving skills – the efforts are, obviously, yet to yield as much as the desired results.

It is, however, expected that the agreement of no night movement made with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) – after the recent Ikorodu tragedy – would go a long way in helping the internal efforts of Dangote Group to the ‘’excesses’’ of its truck drivers.
