” Whoever Wins, Wins” Biodun Olujimi Declares On Ekiti Guber

“The turnout is massive”

The Senator representing Ekiti Central Biodun Olujimi has declared her stance on the possible outcome of Ekiti State gubernatorial election.

“We have spoken to ourselves and agreed we will be peaceful and whoever wins, wins.” Olujimi declared as election gets underway.

Reacting to the turnout of voters, the former deputy governor asserted “The turnout is massive. Women are, of course, much more than men, but this turnout is very unusual,” she said.

“Maybe it is due to voter education; may be it is due to the fact that we now insist that if you don’t have a PVC you cannot do so many things and that is working for us. People are now interested, people just want to cast their ballot and maybe it is because this is a mid-term election where everybody believes they can have a voice. I think this is great.”

The Senator who spoke to thecable.ng, however, talked up the chances of Bisi Kolawole, the gubernatorial candidate of her party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) carrying the day with the claims that “We mobilised greatly. People underrated us but we did a great job and we believe that at the end of the day we will be victorious,”
