Shina Peller’s Position As Claims Of Dumping APC Trend

Federal House of Representatives member, Shina Peller is back on the lips of many, particularly in Oyo State.
The club owner turned business is trending over claims of dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to actualize his senatorial aspiration.
A letter titled “APC Membership Renouncement” addressed to APC Ward 9 chairman, Koso in Iseyin local government area, Oyo State sparked the reports.
The house of representatives member who is quick to address issues on his social media platforms did not post the letter nor made any clarification.
“His has simply kept mum over the development, that is his public position so far” SocietyNow.ng gathered.
The Quilox club owner lost out in the recent APC Senatorial primary in Oyo North on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Incumbent, Senator Fatai Buhari retained the ticket for a fourth term in a process Peller claimed was fraught with irregularities.
Peller who strongly kicked against the emergence of Senator Buhari is said to have decided to go the whole length by contesting the senatorial election based on backing from the leaders across different spheres in his political base.
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that his Senatorial ambition has been turned into a zonal agitation and this appears to have emboldened Peller to move to another party.
Oyo North Senatorial district is made up of 12 local Governments, 10 from Oke Ogun, and three from Ogbomoso area.
Peller is from Oke Ogun and is said to be emboldened by the number and backings from the leaders in his zone to contest the Senatorial election on the platform of another party.
