While Gbenga Daniel Is Pictured With Aspirant Ladi Adebutu, Top Man Bukola Olapade’s Open Declaration & Campaign For Lagos Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi’s Ogun Guber Ambition Throws Ex Gov’s Political Structure In Turmoil

The political structure of former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel is in turmoil.

His men are divided on which way to go in the emerging race for who becomes the next governor of Ogun state.

The former governor and one the most visible top man in his political structure, ex Commissioner Bukola Olopade are giving out confusing signals on who to support to become the next governor of Ogun state.

While the immediate past helmsman of Ogun state has refused to endorse any aspirant but severally pictured with guber hopeful and fellow party man Ladi

Adebutu – the latter’s father, Sir Kessignton Adebutu is a passionate supporter of the former governor -, former commissioner Bukola Olapade has publicly declared support and kick started campaign for the gubernatorial ambition of lagos senator and member of rival party All Progressives Congress – Solomon Olamilekan Adeola widely known as Yayi.

Olopade wrote on his facebook page ‘’I proudly stand with Yayi’’.

And kick started a campaign for others to equally support the ambition of the Lagos Senator to become next Governor of Ogun state.

Just like Otunba Gbenga Daniel and House of Representatives member Ladi Adebutu, Olopade who served as a two term commissioner in the regime of the former governor is a member of the People’s Democratic Party.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel is the political leader and godfather of Bukola Olopade.

Olopade is a well known top man in the political structure of the former governor.

The former commissioner however specifically stated he has no intention of defecting to the All Progressives Congress.

‘’but his action is causing turmoil..a lot of people in the structure have their interests and agendas but we all await Otunba for direction and he gone to do this on his own’’ a source stated.

Societynowng.com gathered that Olopade’s action is creating heavy rumpus within the structure.

Many are said to have started airing contrary opinions to Olopade’s public stance.
‘’He has kicked started a turmoil we don’t need at this point in time’’ a source stated.

Olopade stated in his declaration of support for Yayi that while OGD as Gbenga Daniel is fondly called remains his political leader his option to back Yayi is based on personal principle.

But many still fault his action that his move tells a tale of possible disagreement with the leaning of his political leader.
‘’He should know better, as well known OGD man anything he does will be ascribed to the former governor’’ a source insist.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel is said to have refused making a categorical statement on Olopade’s open backing of Yayi to followers and other stakeholders who reached him.

‘’and that is just adding to the growing confusion’’ a source said.
