Oze Kalu Oze, the Vice President of ACAMB ( (Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks) has revealed why the upcoming “National Stakeholders Conference on Synergy Between the Nigeria Banking Industry and the Organized Private Sector” is not another run-of-the-mill initiative.

It is a project of ACAMB in partnership with the Charted Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN)

Aimed at fostering a more enabling relationship between the banking industry and the organized private sector to grow the economy, it is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the conference hall of the Bankers House, Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

With Godwin Emefiele- the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ken Opara – President, Charted Institue of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Ide John Chinyelu Udeagbala – President, Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and Mansur Ahmed – President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) serving as key headliners, the national banking industry and organized private sector conference is geared to come up with “robust communique that will provide a road map for a new relationship between the banking industry and organized private sector” that would enhance the nation’s economy beyond borders.

Oze, the vice president of ACAMB on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at a media engagement on the National Banking Industry and Organized Private Sector Conference at the Bankers’ House, Victoria Island Lagos, pointed out that the communique will not be just another white paper.

“ACAMB will leverage its advocacy role to push for the implementation of the recommendations. ACAMB is also an advocacy group” he explained and provided further insight that Central Bank governor Godwin Emefiele’s role as one of the headliners for the event tells how involved the government is in the project.
