Unknown Gunmen: “Lot Of The Youth Joining Them, We Are Dealing With Them” – Soludo

The Governor of Anambra Charles Chukwuma Soludo has provided better insight into the activities of criminals causing havoc in the southeast informally tag Unknown Gunmen.

Contrary to assertions in some quarters, Soludo insists that “They are not unknown gunmen, they are unknown to the extent that maybe are not caught immediately.”

On Sunday, the Governor who was a guest on Channels Television’s popular program Politics Today further explained “Let me be clear about it: 100% of the people we have caught are Igbo. Nobody is invading from somewhere. It is 100% Igbo on Igbo.

“Anambra receives its share of influx of Igbo from other South-East States and other parts of Nigeria. The first set of people we caught are Igbos from the South-East States and not from Anambra (State).

“But as we went on, we discovered that a whole lot of the youth are joining them, we are dealing with them equally,”
