It is a play on BAT, the acronym of the name of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) – Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Orji Kalu, a former two-term Governor of Abia State – May 29, 1999 to May 29, 2007 – made the declaration on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

The major influence in his region made the declaration on video when Tinubu visited his mother, Eunice Uzor Kalu at his home.

The presidential candidate of the APC, who has been engaged in round-the-clock consultations across the country for weeks, was accompanied to the home of the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District by some of his loyalists including Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila SocietyNow.Ng confirmed.

Kalu made the all-inclusive open declaration of support for Tinubu’s presidential bid on record after the meeting SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The senator also ensured all those present did the same with the poser ‘Are you BATified’ to everyone which got affirmative responses, with Gbajabiamila going the extra mile with the answer – ” more than you”.
