Idahosa Wells Okunbo, the billionaire popularly known as Hosa Okunbo is up in arms.

Hosa is out for fellow money man Kola Karim.

And at stake is the big money government contract identified as an Oil infrastructure surveillance contract in the Niger Delta.

The contract has just been taken out of the hands of Eraskorp, a firm Karim’s Shoreline Energy Group is backing and handed to Okunbo’s outfit, Ocean Marine Solution.

Societynow.ng gathered that the ‘’struggle” to protect individual interests has resulted into a sizzling fight between the two major players in the nation’s economy.

But away from the obvious, societynow.ng gathered that the root cause of Karim and Hosa’s raging conflict is political.

The entrepreneurs are backing different candidates in the race to determine the next president of Nigeria.

Hosa is working for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari while Karim is rooting for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to become Nigeria’s number one citizen.

Societynow.ng’s checks revealed that ‘’political interest” rather than ‘’business” is actually fueling the raging feud between the two businessmen.

Interestingly before Hosa switched camp and became an advocate of President Muhammadu Buhari, the OMS promoter –along with Karim – was an ardent supporter of the ideals of the People’s Democratic Party, the political platform Atiku wants to become president on.

Both Hosa and Karim were passionate supporters of the PDP government under the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan and luxury in the benefits that came with it.

But all that is changed after Hosa switched camp and they now battle to protect diverse political and economic interests.
