The Controversy Rages On As Linda Ikeji’s Baby Daddy Jeremi Solaye Denies “Congratulating” Popular Blogger On Birth Of Son

The controversy surrounding the true situation of things between popular blogger Linda Ikeji and Jeremi Solaye, the father of her newborn is far from over.

Though Linda has confirmed Solaye is the father of her son, after delivery- the speculations surrounding the blogger and her oilman lover have refused to die down.

Two recent happenstances have further fuelled it.

Ayiri Emami, a well-known associate, and clan man of Solaye quickly deleted a “congratulations to my brother on the birth of our son” social media post.

The post which featured a picture of Solaye and Linda cuddling the newborn disappeared from Emami’s Instagram page as soon as it started gaining traction online.

Jeremi was allegedly angry with Emami’s antic.

The Oilman said to be a business front for powerful interests in government is alleged to be insisting on not having anything public relationship with Ikeji.

Information floating around attributes this development to two reasons.

Jeremi is currently involved in another “relationship” and with a family to the bargain.

Jeremi was said to have had an understanding with Ikeji to keep his identity as of the glare to protect his “other family” and “business interests”.

The blogger obviously flouted that understanding in a bid to “silence” her own critics and uphold image as “independent” lady.

The boost to the speculations comes from Jeremi.

The man in the eye of the storm has denied directly or indirectly congratulating Linda on the birth of the lovers’ new baby.

The social media had become awash with reports of Jeremi congratulating Linda, claiming responsibility for the baby and giving thanks to God on for the ‘’gift of live”, instead of life.

Jeremy has however hit out in a strong-worded statement denying all the “tributes” attributed to him.

He insists he doesn’t have any social media account in a move that totally disowned the congratulatory messages.

The statement released by Jeremi was signed by Obafemi Ajayi who described self as ‘’Media Aide to Solaye Jeremi.

Jeremi’s statement first published on thecapital.ng reads in full

“The attention of Mr Sholaye Jeremi has been drawn to some social media hoodlums who opened Instagram accounts in his name.

“This is to inform the general public that Mr Jeremi doesn’t have any social media account and he’s not on Instagram.

“Even though the accounts are fake, bloggers, mischief-makers and quacks pounced on them; like harbingers of pain and ill-will, they cast it across social media, not minding the consequences of reporting lies as truth.

“It becomes mortifying, therefore, to see the creeps leap in the mud and perpetrate lies in desperation, to slant the court of public opinion against Mr Sholaye Jeremi, a decent and well-cultured businessman.

“As far as we are concerned, their annoyingly comical posts not only beggars belief, but skirts moral boundaries.

The reports which attempted to disparage the hardworking oil magnate was curiously mischievous. Naturally, Mr Sholaye wouldn’t have responded to the poorly choreographed bunch of lies, but we just have to keep the record straight.

“We hereby appeal to the general public not to take the evil-doers seriously. Thank you.”

Obafemi Ajayi, Media Aide to Mr. Solaye Jeremi.

The situation is further compounded by the refusal of Kemi Olulonyo, the blogger who has refused to let go of the “development”, feasting on it at every twist and turns and insisting “there is more than meets the eye in the Ikeji, Jeremi affair”.

Olunloyo right from the word go insists the whole “Linda Ikeji Pregnancy” drama is too scripted to be true. And she has refused to let go since things started unraveling.
