Taiwo Afolabi’s Sifax Head Office Gutted By Fire!

The beautiful edifice that is the corporate head quarter of Sifax Group, the foundation of the business concerns of wealthy Nigerian, Taiwo Afolabi has lost it beauty.

The Ware House Road, Apapa, Lagos situated home of commerce was gutted by fire on Saturday July 16 2011.

According to information made available to www.societynowng.com the fire started at about 7.oop.m.

And before help could come the place was razed.

Investigations conducted by www.societynowng.com revealed that the cause of the inferno is yet to be established.

Further findings revealed that apart the property destroyed- no human casualty was recorded.

The money man and his management staffers were said to be off the premise at the time of the incident.

They rarely come to work on Saturday.

Mr Afolabi is said to have commenced renovation of the burnt business complex

Investigations into the extent of the loss in terms of vital documents is still on going

Mr Afolabi, the owner of Sifax Group – he is enmeshed in a court to establish the veracity of this credit- is the face of the consortium that recently bought over NAHCO.

He was the focus of celebrity reportage a couple of days back over an alleged romance with popular actress, Omotola Jalade Ekehinde.

He was said to have travelled out of town when the news hit town to avoid the attendant public interest.

He had maintained a very low profile since then until the latest incident that has started making the rounds.

Spokes person for the company- Mr Oliver Omajuwa in a telephone conversation confirmed the incident.

He however insisted the damage was minimal.

According to him the fire only affected the ground floor of the building and workmen have started putting the place back in order.
