Everybody is out for Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

And it appears mounting opposition against Amosun is more intense within his All Progressives Congress, even in face of supposed “ongoing” reconciliation.

Amosun is passionately opposed to the emergence of his estranged friend, Dapo Abiodun as APC gubernatorial candidate in Ogun state.

After suffering a series of bloodied nose politically in his opposition to Abiodun, the governor is currently “forced” to enter into a negotiation to salvage his political influence.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered the fight against Abiodun has done immeasurable harm to the political fortune of Governor Amosun.

Insiders disclosed the development puts Amosun’s Senatorial ambition at great risk.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed Amosun’s enemies, within and outside his party, agreed on one thing – the governor needs to lose the senatorial election to be a lesser risk to all.

And they are earnestly working underground to achieve this objective, sources insist.

“If you measure the way he operates as governor, it is clear Abiodun cannot afford to have Amosun in a position of power if he assumes office and the opposition is also keen to wrest control of the politics of the state from the grasp of Amosun” a source offered.
