Hakeem Murhi- Okunola, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos state ministry of Sports and Social Development just made history.

He became the youngest Head of Service ever appointed in Lagos less than a month to his 47th birthday.

HMO as fondly called by friends was sworn into his new position on Monday, December 31, 2018.

The ceremony witnessed a surprise attendance by powerful politician Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu is fingered as teleguiding Murhi- Okunola’s career up to this point, with talks of ‘’a huge political leap” already snowballing.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed Tinubu did not attend the event alone.

‘’Asiwaju stormed the event with his main men” a source stated.

Very conspicuous in the picture that parades HMO and Tinubu were Folorunsho Folarin Coker, the Director General of the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation and Oba Ademola Elegushi.

Interestingly Coker, Murhi- Okunola and Elegushi all rose through the ranks of Asiwaju Tinubu’s ‘’legendary” close-knit support group.

And they have transformed tremendous assets to Tinubu since they came of ”age” multiple sources confirmed.

More interesting is the fact that both Coker – a former Commissioner in Lagos state – and HMO were openly persecuted for loyalty to their pedigree.

Coker was forced to resign and later became the D.G of NTDC while Murhi- Okunola who escaped a sack by the whiskers and was redeployed to ‘’obscurity” has now emerged a major history of Lagos state.

And Tinubu’s men all gathered to triumphantly stand with one of their own in a moment of glory.
