Sanwo-Olu To Meet With All APC Stakeholders In Lagos
scheduled to hold on Tuesday,
Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is set to host a crucial stakeholders’ parley with leaders, elected and appointed officials, as well as candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the July 12 Lagos State Local Government elections.
The strategic meeting is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 24, at 12 noon at the State House, Marina.
According to a statement issued by the party’s spokesperson, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the parley will serve as a rallying point to mobilize the party’s structures and strengthen internal coordination ahead of the crucial grassroots elections.
The meeting follows the formal presentation of party flags to the 57 chairmanship candidates last week at the APC state secretariat in Ogba, which signaled the official commencement of campaign activities.
Described as a colourful event, the flag presentation ceremony drew the crème de la crème of the state’s political and government leadership, further energizing party faithful and boosting morale for another victorious outing.
Lagos APC, in the statement, expressed gratitude to Lagosians for their sustained trust and confidence in the party’s progressive vision. It credited the unprecedented development across sectors in the state to this enduring partnership between the party and the people.
“We’re confident that the landmark achievements of our local government councils in education, primary health care, housing and social interventions, among others, will be rewarded with massive votes at the polls for all our candidates,” Oladejo stated.
The upcoming elections are widely seen as another opportunity for the ruling party to consolidate its grassroots dominance and renew its mandate to deliver people-oriented governance at the third tier level.
