Rotimi Akeredolu Loses Popularity In Ondo Guber Race Over Contract Scam Allegation
Action Congress Of Nigeria Gubernatorial Candidate in the upcoming ondo polls, Rotimi Akeredolu’s popularity just suffered a hit.
This is coming on the heels of allegation of contract scam against his person.
A group known as Good Governance Monitor (GGM)- based in Abuja- just released details of financial management, abuse of office and inflation of cost against the gubernatorial candidate allegedly perfected while he served Rotimi Akeredolu
as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
The group based on these allegations tagged the former NBA front man unfit to contest as a governor and gave him a 14days ultimatum to quit the race.
The deadline lapses towards the tail end of this month- September.
Sources confirmed since the allegations hit town- it has transformed one of the most topical in Ondo state, assumed different dimensions and interpretations, and dealt a major blow to the ACN candidates popularity and respectability.
The general perception is that, should he fail to quit the race- the gubernatorial candidate risks a court case that might en-tangle his ambition in a web of legality till the October 20 election date
