Zamfara Gov, Abdul Aziz Yari Acquires N800m Property In Abuja

The Governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari just perfected a major buy.

He bought a property valued at N800m in Abuja.

According to informants, the acquisition is located on Owena Close, Off Ethiopia Street Maitama.

Insiders revealed the Governor took possession weeks back.

This happenstance is tagged the fallout of his eviction from former Abuja residence in April 2010.
Abdul Aziz Yari, Zamfara Governor The number one citizen of Zamfara state was booted out of a five- bedroom duplex with two- room boys’ quarter, on Fatai Williams Street, Asokoro, on court order.

The court’s verdict was the fallout of the Governor’s refusal to pay rents and ‘unfounded’ claims he bought the house.

Gov Yari had claimed he acquired the house from a nowhere to be found person- Obinna Kanu.

The rightful owner Sir Ernest Elochukwu had disputed the claim and won an eviction order against Alhaji Yari.

Aside suffering ejection- the Governor was also ordered to pay N8, 162, 028. 00, representing profit on two years’ rent; N10, 000 cost; and N10, 000 warrant fees.

The new N800m property is meant as a personal recompense to himself a source disclosed.
