Some people call him Asiwaju, other call him “Mr. Fix It”. But those who are familiar with the politics of Ogun, especially that of the new and emerging PDP group under Ladi Adebutu in Ogun State agree to one thing, ignore Bola Oluwole at your own peril.

This 40-year old OND, Business Admin graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic calls the shots as far as Ladi Adebutu is concerned. He has the power to overrule any decision even by anybody, yes, anybody including decision taken by the federal lawmaker himself.

When Bola Oluwole, who derives his powers from being an in-law to Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, threatens that he will get you out of the system, which he often does, you had better take him serious, because you are a goner until you come back crawling at his feet. So powerful is the young man that he rules the Ogun State People’s Democratic Party from his pocket.

Gists moving around in Ogun State is that Bola Oluwole single handedly wrote names of most delegates and those who emerged as wards and local government executives in several locations, and where he did not he gave out as favours to those who crawled to him begging.

So close to Hon. Adebutu is the Ijagba Sagamu born politician, who is being tipped to take over the seat of Adebutu at the Federal House Reps while Adebutu will become governor, that it is rumoured that any expenditure or money that is not approved by Bola Oluwole cannot be spent. Not only that, this young man is believed to have the power over who eats, drink or sleep near Adebutu.

Some close sources in the Ogun State PDP disclosed that ” the party structure is in the firm grip of Bola Oluwole, the chairman will need to take permission and orders from that young man, and if he fails to do so, he will be gone the next day”

Others offered” “that young man knows his onions, he understand the extent of his powers and control over the new financier of the party after Buruji had been taken out, and he says it all the time, that whoever cannot take instructions from him should consider himself out.”

Reacting to the enormous powers which he wields, Bola Oluwole, who spoke to our correspondent at the Park Inn hotel in Abeokuta merely offered: “I don’t know where people get this idea of power from, but the truth is they don’t know where me and Ladi have been coming from. It is my duty to check people who are just coming in and think they want to come and eat from Ladi’s money. That is my job. And it is not easy to control greedy people, you just have to be strict with them. We have our own masterplan on how we can make Ladi governor in 2019, all these politicians who claim to have ideas have nothing upstairs. We know how we made Ladi get to the Reps, many of them were not there then.”

“The reason why I am offering myself to go to the House of Reps is just to assist Ladi’s governorship ambition, if not, with what I have put into this party, the PDP, the Reps is too small for me”.
