Reuben Fasoranti Reverses Resignation As Afenifere Leader

Pa Reuben Fasoranti has reversed his resignation as leader of leading Pan – Yoruba socio – political group, Afenifere.

According to information available to scietynowng.com, this decision is the fallout rejection of his resignation by the group and pleas to continue in office.

Publicity Secretary of the group, Yinka Odumakin communicated the latest twist in the resignation saga in a chat with media men on Wednesday on the outcome of the meeting that changed Pa Fasoranti’s mind.

The meeting held at the Akure Ondo state residence of the man whose abrupt resignation created a lot of sparks. Pa Reuben Fasoranti According to Odumakin ‘’ The meeting resolved to urge him to continue as the leader of Afenifere and Baba (Fasoranti) has agreed to withdraw his resignation letter and continue as our leader. The good news is that Baba has withdrawn his decision to step aside,”

The meeting which changed Pa Fasoranti’s mind on resignation reportedly lasted several hours and had in attendance Olusegun Mimiko, Governor of Ondo state, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Chief Olu Falae, Chief Supo Sonibare and Chief Korede Duyile amongst others.
