Ex Lagos Commissioner, Lateef Ibirogba Becomes Gov Rauf Aregbesola’s Personal Assistant

Governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola has a new personal assistant.
And he is former Lagos state commissioner for information, Lateef Ibirogba.

Ibirogba was a part of the immediate past administration of two term governor Babatunde Raji Fashola

Fashola just got confirmed as a Minister Designate.

It is however not clear when his former commissioner for information became personal assistant to Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.

But Ibirogba has definitely resumed duties and hard at work for his new employers.

He officially absolved Aregbesola of involvement in a raging controversy over attempt by some individuals relying on court judgement to forcefully evict residents of Millennium Estate, Afonka, Shasha.

The governor is listed as beneficiary of the judgement against home owners who insist they purchased their apartments through a housing scheme operated by the state government.

Ibirogba in a report featured in Punch where he is credited with the position of Personal Assistant to Governor Aregbesola reportedly stated “Aregbesola is not a party to any land tussle. He does not have any reason to get involved in litigation against the Lagos State Government and he is not a land speculator. He does not have any interest in that estate.
“How can Aregbesola, who was a commissioner for works in Lagos State for eight years, be a party to litigation against the state government? How could he ask thugs to forcefully eject people from the land? If he was aware, would he not have been represented by a counsel?’’
