Fresh details have revealed the real reason behind the unending fight between the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the Olugbo of Ugbo land Oba Obateru Akinruntan.

Unrelenting Oba Akinruntan launched a supremacy war against the Ooni Ife insisting that contrary to widespread belief and documentary evidence, his throne his superior to that of the Oba Ogunwusi.
