Praise Singers Chased Away, As NDLEA Agents Continue House Arrest Siege On Fugitive Kashamu Buruji Despite Court Order!

The drama over the arrest of fugitive senator elect, Kashamu Buruji adopted a hilarious tone yesterday evening.

Praise singers coming to the lekki Phase 1 residence to rejoice court order calling off house arrest siege by anti drug agency, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on the embattled senator elect were chased away by agents on the field.

The rowdy group with their uncoordinated drums and songs later claimed a spot, a safe distance from the venue of the ongoing drug arrest operation lamenting and wondering why their pay master’s plight remains not over.

The NDLEA later released an official statement describing the court order to call off the arrest that would lead to the extradition of Kashamu to the United States of America ‘diversionary and inconsequential’

The agency premised it’s tag on explanation ‘The NDLEA does not believe that any court will issue an order preventing a government agency from performing its statutory responsibilities in a lawful manner’ – and called on the suspect to submit himself to lawful process.

Said to have threatened suicide at point in the course of his self incarceration,he is said to correspond with lawyers, family members and arresting officers through the window.
