Popular Politician – Former Commissioner – Sola Oladeinde Is New SDP Chairman!

Popular politician Sola Oladeinde has been appointed as the chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Osun State.

Oladeinde served in the government of former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola as the commissioner for commerce and industry.

He remained extremely relevant in the scheme of things after leaving office.

Oladehinde’s clout, influence and vast connections made the national working committee of the SDP to appoint him party chairman in Osun to handle its internal crisis.

In the appointment letter issued to him, dated on October 4, 2019, the national leadership of the party stated it appointed Oladeinde as Caretaker Chairman to resolve the protracted crisis rocking the party in the state.

Oladeinde takes over the leadership of the party from Dr Bayo Faforiji who fell out with Senator Iyiola Omisore following unresolved differences.

Omisore, a major financier of SDP, was the candidate of the party during the last governorship election in Osun State.
