Oyo Gov Seyi Makinde Gags Commissioners?

The talks on the streets of Oyo state is that new Governor Seyi Makinde has gagged his commissioner.

‘’The commissioners are not allowed to talk to the press at will regarding the actions and inactions of the Makinde administration’’ is the word on the street.

The word on the street claims this approach by Makinde is premised on the need to avoid conflicts in making the government position things known to the public.

Though supporters and sympathizers of the new governor of Oyo state insist this assertion is far from the truth and simple checks would reveal otherwise, the apostles of the ‘’gag order’’ have countered this claim.

‘’The simple check will only reveal those the governor gave the go-ahead to speak on specific issues’’ they say.
