Peter Nielsen Husband & Alleged Killer Of Singer Alizee And 3yr Old Daughter Stays In Detention Till Trial

Emerging details have it that the court has ordered that Peter Nielsen, the Dane accused of killing his singer wife, Alizee and 3year old daughter should remain in detention until when his trial starts.

Nielsen, 53 is accused of killing his wife and daughter on April 5 at the couple’s Banana Island Lagos home.

The order to keep him in detention until his trial begins in a High Court on June 28 was given by a Yaba Magistrate Court on Monday, May 7.

The accused was first remanded in prison custody when he appeared in court on April 11.

He denies responsibility for the killing of his wife and daughter insisting he woke up to meet their dead bodies.

But investigators claim otherwise

Prosecutor Effiong Asuquo – a chief superintendent of police – stated ‘The accused who was always at loggerheads with his wife had hit her head on the wall several times leading to her death; he also proceeded to poison his daughter’.

“He had dragged their lifeless bodies under the gas to create the impression that they suffocated to death as a result of a gas leakage,” .

Many rights activists under the auspices of Women Arise NGO led by Joe Okei Odumakin lead the agitation for justice in the tragic case.
