The information available revealed that Shagaya whose influence in the Jonathan administration is ranked as high as the infamous Petroleum Minister Diezani Madueke has scheduled her birthday celebration for Sunday, October 13, 2019.

This is five days after her birth date (October 10) which falls on a weekday – Thursday.

The venue is revealed as Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Societynow.ng learned the guests’ list of the planned birthday bash is meant to show Shagaya – who remains extremely close to the troubled former first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan – is still a woman of influence in government circles despite investigation for alleged corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Shagaya who is an adept player in the politics of the corridor of power got her enormous influence in the Jonathan administration from extraordinary closeness to the former President’s wife.

Dame Patience is still undergoing rigorous investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over questionable fund traces to her bank accounts and those of her proxies.

Expected to grace Shagaya’s 60th birthday celebration is Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who is her in-law.

Shagaya’s son Seun married Osinbajo’s daughter Damilola in March 2018.
