Contrary to great expectations sources confirmed burial of former governor of Bayelsa state, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha didnot kick of as scheduled.

”Nothing happened as regarding the burial on March 24” a source stated.

Thursday March 24 was the date earlier announced for kick of the burial of the popular former governor of Bayelsa state.

This development adds to the raging controversy surrounding the death said to have transpired at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital on Saturday October 10 2015.

Many who should claimed not have sighted the remains of the man dubbed ”Governor General of the Ijaw Nation” since he passed on the midst of speculation is death was staged.

The former governor died in the face of ground swelling move for his repatriation to the United Kingdom to face money laundering charges.

Alamieyeseigha had jumped bail by disguising like a woman to escape to scamper back home and ”escape” the charges when he was a governor.

Insiders alleged those concerned had requested the budget by half, a part given to his family and the rest used for the burial.
